Automatic liquid sampler for gas chromatographs HTA 3000A

The HTA 3000A automatic liquid sampler is designed for injection of samples into gas chromatographs and chromato-mass spectrometers. The device was developed by the Italian company HTA and is the most compact device in its class, which does not require additional space on the laboratory table. The model is in demand in laboratories performing high-performance routine analysis, including environmental monitoring, pharmaceutical control, food analysis, and petrochemistry. The key feature of the system is the built-in artificial intelligence, which implements several intelligent functions. The device performs self-testing, monitors the condition of consumables, checks the integrity of the injector septa, and provides predictive maintenance planning. If a malfunction occurs, a dynamic QR code is displayed on the touchscreen, which can be scanned to instantly transmit configuration and problem information to the technical support service. The device has a record injection speed: a complete sample injection cycle takes less than 100 milliseconds. The rapid injection technology ensures the optimal shape of chromatographic peaks and minimizes needle discrimination, which is especially important when working with high-boiling compounds. The movement of the syringe plunger takes less than 100 milliseconds for 80 percent of the nominal volume. The sampler is equipped with a large full-color touchscreen, which simplifies operation for both beginners and experienced operators. The device is supplied in a standard configuration with a 121-position carousel for 2 milliliter vials. Modifications are also available: the younger model 3100A for 15 positions and the older 3200A for 209 positions. The device supports up to six bottles of solvents for rinsing with a volume of 10 milliliters each, which ensures long-term automatic operation without refueling. The device is compatible with all gas chromatographs and chromato-mass spectrometers available on the market, thanks to its flexible modular configuration and tool-free quick mounting system. Up to two injectors on one chromatograph are supported. Additionally, special functions are implemented to reduce the load on the septa, minimize contamination of the mass analyzer and reduce the consumption of carrier gas in standby mode. The sampler supports a wide range of sample preparation and injection techniques: vapor phase sampling at room temperature, multiphase sampling, injection of nanoliter volumes, as well as controlled-speed dosing for working with samples of various viscosities. Injection can be performed in priority mode, with the addition of an internal standard, as well as in dual simultaneous injection mode for high-performance analysis and confirmation of results. Single-stage and two-stage rinsing of the syringe with both sample and solvent is provided. A wide range of syringes from 500 nanoliters to 100 microliters is available, which allows you to work with split/splitters, PTV and on-column injectors. The device can be controlled either via the built-in touchscreen or remotely using the HTA Autosampler Manager software, available in the standard version and in the version conforming to the requirements of 21 CFR Part 11 for work in regulated industries. The sampler is also fully integrated into the collection systems.
