Optima LC/MS Grade water is an ultrapure solvent designed for the preparation of mobile phases in liquid chromatography, ultra-high performance liquid chromatography and liquid chromato-mass spectrometry. The reagent is in demand in pharmaceutical control, biotechnological research, clinical diagnostics, environmental monitoring and food analysis. The product undergoes a multi-stage purification process, including ion exchange, activated carbon, distillation and filtration through a membrane with a pore size of 0.1 micrometers. The content of organic impurities is controlled by gas chromatography and is less than 10 billionths. The resistivity exceeds 18.2 megaohms per centimeter, which is the standard for water of the highest purity. Due to the ultra-low background during spectrophotometric control, Optima LC/MS Grade water is suitable for gradient methods with detection over the entire UV region.
