Thermo Scientific TRACE 1610
Gas chromatograph

This analytical system is built on the iConnect modular concept, allowing the instrument to be reconfigured to suit current analytical tasks without the need for service engineers. The injector and detector modules are connected without cables or gas lines, and calibration data for each module is stored in its own memory, ensuring complete readiness for operation immediately after installation. The column thermostat utilizes reduced thermal mass technology, reducing energy consumption and minimizing warm-up time. The maximum heating rate reaches 125°C/min, and cooling from 450°C to 50°C takes less than 4 minutes. These parameters significantly reduce…

These parameters significantly reduce analytical cycle times when working with large sample batches. The instrument is equipped with a 7-inch, high-resolution capacitive touchscreen display. The interface provides the operator with access to system status monitoring, consumable component life tracking, real-time signal viewing, and diagnostic procedures. Video instructions for routine maintenance can be loaded onto the screen, simplifying staff training and reducing the likelihood of errors during maintenance. The SmartStatus monitoring system included with the Chromeleon CDS displays instrument readiness, preventative maintenance requirements, and consumables status. The consumables wear prediction feature allows for maintenance planning based on actual usage data rather than a calendar-based approach. The TRACE 1610 GC design allows for the simultaneous installation of up to two injectors (SSL, PTV, COC, GSV) and up to two detectors (FID, TDP, ECD, FPD, TID) directly on the main unit. By connecting an additional thermostat, the number of detector slots can be increased to four. The auxiliary thermostat is also used to accommodate multi-valve and multi-column configurations in natural gas and petroleum product analyzers.
