France Etuves XF
A series of vacuum drying cabinets France Etuves XF

France Etuves XF series vacuum cabinets are laboratory and industrial equipment for drying, heat treatment and degassing of materials under low pressure conditions. The devices are in demand in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, plastic, electronic, chemical and food industries, as well as in research laboratories. The manufacturer produces four standard sizes, differing in working volume and dimensions. The XF020 has a useful volume of 20 liters with internal dimensions of 250 × 320 × 250 millimeters. The XF050 is designed for 51 liters (320 × 500 × 320 millimeters). The XF120 delivers 110-120 liters (470 ×…

The XF120 delivers 110-120 liters (470 × 500 × 470 millimeters). The older XF240 model has a volume of 223 liters with internal dimensions of 470 × 1000 × 470 millimeters. For the 120 and 240 liter models, additional structural reinforcement is provided, adapted for more intensive operation. The inner chamber of all modifications is made of high-strength stainless steel 4 millimeters thick with rounded corners, which facilitates cleaning and eliminates the accumulation of impurities. The outer casing is made of electrolytically galvanized steel coated with epoxy paint. There is no direct contact between the inner and outer skins, which eliminates the formation of thermal bridges and reduces the temperature of the outer surfaces. Thermal insulation with a thickness of 70 millimeters is made of asbestos-free glass wool. The chamber is heated by flat heating elements under a stainless casing, evenly distributed around the working volume to ensure optimal temperature homogeneity. Contactless heating switching is implemented via static relays, eliminating spurious interference. A configuration with one or more heating plates (except the XF020 model) is available on request for improved heat transfer to the processed products. The heating capacity ranges from 500 to 800 watts for the lower model, 1005-1200 watts for the XF050, 2010-2400 watts for the XF120 and 3015 watts for the XF240. The maximum operating temperature is 200 degrees Celsius, expandable to 300 degrees Celsius on special request. Temperature control is carried out using a Pt100 sensor located directly inside the working volume, which provides a measurement as close as possible to the actual temperature of the product. The C3000 electronic PID controller with automatic adjustment guarantees stability of regulation better than ±0.2 degrees Celsius. The heating speed is programmable in the range from 0.1 to 20 degrees Celsius per minute. The two-level safety system includes an independent adjustable thermostat of class 3.1, which turns off the heating when it exceeds the permissible values. The evacuation is controlled through a three-position manual valve with the positions "adjustment", "control" and "safety". An analog vacuum gauge with a scale from 0 to minus 1 bar is used to measure pressure. A piezoelectric sensor with digital pressure indication with a resolution of 1 millibar is optionally available. The cabinet is equipped with fittings for connecting a vacuum pump and for air or inert gas intake. The vacuum valve is located on the back panel of the device.
