The France Etuves XFE series vacuum cabinets are an advanced version of vacuum equipment equipped with a C3030 programmable controller that fully automates vacuum and temperature control. The devices are designed for gentle drying of thermosensitive products, degassing of materials, heat treatment of oxidized samples and rapid drying of powders and granules. The equipment is in demand in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, electronic, chemical and food industries, as well as in the aerospace industry and research laboratories. The manufacturer produces three standard sizes: XFE020 with a volume of 20 liters, XFE050 with 51 liters and XFE120 with 110 liters. The XFE020 model has internal dimensions of 250 × 320 × 250 millimeters, XFE050 — 320 × 500 × 320 millimeters, XFE120 — 470 × 500 × 470 millimeters. All models are equipped with a programmable C3030 controller with a color display that controls both heating and operation of the vacuum pump based on a user-defined vacuum setting. The controller allows you to create one eight-segment profile, including four programmable temperature frames and four temperature plateaus. The key difference between the XFE series and the basic vacuum cabinets is the automatic vacuum adjustment. As soon as the operator sets the vacuum value on the controller, the system automatically controls the activation and deactivation of the vacuum pump to maintain the set level. The vacuum display limit is 1 mbar (absolute pressure). Pressing the atmospheric pressure recovery button returns the chamber to its normal state without changing the preset vacuum setting. The cabinet is equipped with DN16KF fittings on the back panel for connecting a vacuum pump. The inner chamber is made of thick-walled stainless steel with rounded corners, which facilitates cleaning and eliminates the accumulation of impurities. The outer casing is made of electrolytically galvanized steel coated with white and blue epoxy paint. There is no direct contact between the inner and outer skin to exclude thermal bridges. Thermal insulation with a thickness of 70 millimeters is made of asbestos-free glass wool, which ensures a low temperature of the external surfaces, reduced energy consumption and quick access to the operating mode. The chamber is heated by flat heating elements under a stainless casing, evenly distributed around the perimeter to ensure optimal temperature homogeneity. Contactless heating switching is implemented via static relays that eliminate electromagnetic interference. The Pt100 temperature sensor is located directly inside the working volume, providing a measurement as close as possible to the actual temperature of the product. The heating capacity is 800 watts for the XFE020, 1200 watts for the XFE050 and 2400 watts for the XFE120.
