France Etuves XM
A series of industrial modular drying cabinets

France Etuves XM series drying cabinets are chamber-type industrial equipment designed for heat treatment, polymerization, coating and drying of composite materials. The devices are in demand in the aerospace industry, the construction materials industry, the chemical industry, and composite processing plants. The key feature of the line is the ultra-modular design. The XM base cabinet consists of a front double-leaf door, one or more modules and a rear wall. The manufacturer offers seven standard module volumes: XM06 for 6,000 liters, XM07.5 for 7,500 liters, XM08 for 8,000 liters, XM09 for 9,000 liters, XM10 for 10,000…

The manufacturer offers seven standard module volumes: XM06 for 6,000 liters, XM07.5 for 7,500 liters, XM08 for 8,000 liters, XM09 for 9,000 liters, XM10 for 10,000 liters, XM12 for 12,000 liters and XM24 for 24,000 liters. By combining several modules, the customer can obtain a working chamber of almost any size, adapted to the dimensions of their own products. This modularity also simplifies transportation — the equipment is delivered disassembled in shipping containers, and on-site assembly is performed by certified specialists from the manufacturer. The thermoregulation system is based on an exclusive forced ventilation scheme. The air from the working volume is sucked in by the impeller of the electric motor, passes through the heating elements located directly in the air stream, and returns back to the chamber. This design guarantees excellent uniformity of temperature distribution throughout the entire volume. Each module is equipped with its own fan, heating unit, thermal sensor and independent controller. The standard operating temperature range ranges from ambient temperature plus 20 degrees Celsius to 200 degrees Celsius. Upon special request, the manufacturer offers a version with a maximum temperature of up to 300 degrees Celsius. The stability of temperature maintenance in a thermostable state is ± 0.5 degrees Celsius, and uniformity in the working volume, according to measurements according to the NF X 15-140 standard, does not exceed ± 3 degrees Celsius at 200 degrees. The safety of operation is ensured by a two-level protection system. The main controller (protection class 3.1) controls the heating process and turns off the heating when the set temperature is exceeded. An additional mechanical limiter with manual reset (protection class 2) protects the camera itself from overheating in the event of a failure of the main electronics. When the doors are opened, ventilation and heating are automatically turned off, as well as interior lighting is activated (three light points per module). Internal locking handles are provided on the doors to prevent the operator from accidentally locking himself inside the camera. The interior and exterior cladding of the cabinet are made of electrolytically galvanized steel. The exterior surfaces are coated with white and blue epoxy paint, resistant to mechanical damage and working environments. The thermal insulation is made of asbestos-free glass wool. The floor structure is a thin steel sheet designed to load trolleys with products without weight restrictions. A variety of options are available on request: stainless steel interior trim, additional ports for connecting vacuum lines and sensors, windows in the doors, movable partitions for changing the working volume, FE3000 software for remote monitoring and process control, as well as AMS2750D aerospace certification. The temperature is controlled via programmable controllers located in a separate electrical cabinet. PLC and touch screen versions are available for advanced process management and documentation. The power supply is provided by a three-phase network of 400 Volts, 50 Hertz. The heating capacity of one module varies from 33 to 88 kilowatts, depending on its size, and the fan power ranges from 1.5 to 7.5 kilowatts.
