Analab EvapoClean
Sample evaporation and concentration system

The EvapoClean system is designed to partially or completely remove solvent from liquid samples in preparation for elemental analysis. The unit operates on the principle of sub-boiling evaporation: the temperature is maintained slightly below the boiling point of the treated liquid, which eliminates rapid boiling and loss of micro-components due to droplet entrainment. The resulting vapors condense in the receiving tank at room temperature and do not return to the evaporated sample. The construction of all modifications is made of graphite with a thick PFA coating (200-300 micrometers), resistant to aggressive acids and organic solvents.…

Analab EvapoClean
A device for the gentle evaporation of acids and organic solvents in a closed volume. Allows the concentration of samples without loss of volatile elements and external contamination.

Sample evaporation and concentration system Analab EvapoClean
The EvapoClean system is designed to partially or completely remove solvent from liquid samples in preparation for elemental analysis. The unit operates on the principle of sub-boiling evaporation: the temperature is maintained slightly below the boiling point of the treated liquid, which eliminates rapid boiling and loss of micro-components due to droplet entrainment. The resulting vapors condense in the receiving tank at room temperature and do not return to the evaporated sample. The construction of all modifications is made of graphite with a thick PFA coating (200-300 micrometers), resistant to aggressive acids and organic solvents. The enclosed volume of the process protects the sample from atmospheric pollution and, in turn, protects the laboratory atmosphere and staff from acid fumes. All models have been validated to work in Class 1 (ISO 3) clean rooms. The manufacturer produces devices for vessels of two standard sizes: 25 milliliters and 125 milliliters. For each size, three configurations are available for 3, 6 or 12 evaporation positions located on the side of the unit. The model designations are based on the EV-X scheme.YZ, where X is the number of side positions, and YZ is the volume of the vessel in milliliters. For example, EV-6.25 designates a 6-position block for 25-milliliter vessels. Additional sockets are provided on the upper surface of the heating unit for installing the vessels of the CleanSlever system. Their number is 6, 12 or 24, depending on the model, and is used for parallel mineralization of samples or acid washing of laboratory utensils. This integration makes it possible to combine several stages of sample preparation in one device, from cleaning containers to concentrating the finished eluate. The basic package includes standard evaporation units: a PFA vessel for the initial sample, a PTFE adapter ("elbow") and a PFA receiver for condensate. On request, two-port adapters are available for installing an external thermal probe that is immersed directly into the evaporated sample, as well as additional sets of dishes for changing the reagents being processed without stopping work. The evaporation rate ranges from 25 to 35 milliliters per hour for 25-milliliter vessels. The temperature is controlled by an external programmable controller connected to the unit by a 1.7-meter cable in a PFA shell. This solution allows you to place the electronics outside the fume hood, protecting it from acidic fumes. The regulator is available for 110 V and 230 V mains. The manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty on the graphite block and 1 year on the electronics.
