Analab FluoroPlate
Inertial heating plate

The FluoroPlate device is used to heat and evaporate liquid samples in preparation for spectral analysis. The device is indispensable at the stages of decomposition of samples with concentrated acids before measurements on ICP-MS, ICP-OES or atomic absorption spectrometers. The plate is actively used in laboratories that control the purity of materials in metallurgy, microelectronics and the nuclear industry, as well as in environmental and geochemical research. The working area is made of graphite base with a finishing PFA coating. This material does not interact with boiling mineral acids, including hydrochloric, nitric and hydrofluoric, and…

Analab FluoroPlate
Graphite tiles with PFA coating for acid evaporation and mineralization. The entire work surface heats up evenly, protecting it from corrosion and metal contamination.

This material does not interact with boiling mineral acids, including hydrochloric, nitric and hydrofluoric, and does not emit metal ions that could distort the results of an ultra-sensitive elemental analysis. The stove can be operated in clean rooms of the highest ISO 3 class, where any dusting or corrosion of surfaces is unacceptable. The side walls and bottom of the device are covered with a heat-resistant PTFE shield, which prevents burns and reduces the thermal load on laboratory furniture. The manufacturer produces three modifications that differ in useful area. The younger A4 version occupies a heated area of 20 by 30 centimeters, the middle A3 — 30 by 40 centimeters, the older A2 — 40 by 60 centimeters. Despite the different sizes, all versions keep the temperature with a deviation of no more than two degrees over the entire surface. The upper heating limit depends on the model and the mains voltage, reaching 250 degrees Celsius. The temperature controller is located outside the fume hood to protect the electronics from acid fumes. The customer can choose a single-mode controller for fixed temperature operation or a programmable one for creating complex thermal profiles. The latter supports up to 64 heating segments in one program and stores up to 15 different techniques in memory. The stove can be controlled either using an external controller or via a computer with an optional USB adapter. It is convenient to place EasyDigest branded racks on the surface of FluoroPlate, designed for group installation of test tubes and glasses. Depending on the combination of the rack and the stove, you can process from one to four sets of dishes in parallel. For accelerated evaporation of aggressive liquids, an optional station with a HEPA filter and vapor extraction is available, which connects to the stove in a single system.
