Anton Paar Multiwave GO Plus
Microwave sample preparation system

The Multiwave GO Plus system is a microwave sampler for acid decomposition of a wide range of samples, from food and feed to biological materials and aquatic samples. The device is aimed at laboratories that require high performance in confined spaces. The device processes up to 12 samples simultaneously using PTFE-TFM reactors with a volume of 50 milliliters, resistant to hydrofluoric acid. The design is based on the patented DMC (Directed Multimode Cavity) technology, which combines the advantages of fast mono—mode heating and multimode processing of several samples. Thanks to the well-thought-out interaction of the…

Thanks to the well-thought-out interaction of the rotor, finned reactors and integrated hood, the system cools from 180 to 70 degrees Celsius in less than 8 minutes. This cycle time makes the device one of the most efficient in its class. The reaction is controlled through two channels. The infrared sensor independently measures the temperature in each tube, providing precision process control. SmartVent technology is responsible for safety: it relieves excess pressure that occurs during decomposition without violating the tightness of the main chamber. The three-part reactor design does not require tools for assembly and has a built-in closure control mechanism, extending the product's service life. The device has the smallest dimensions on the market due to its compact design and the use of a single magnetron, which saves space in the fume hood. The rotor assembly weighs less than 5 kilograms, which makes it easier to remove and maintain. Intuitive software with pre-installed universal methods (including EPA 3015A, 3051A, 3052) reduces the development time of techniques. A pharmaceutical qualification package is available for regulated industries, simplifying documentary support. The system is used for decomposition of food products, biological and ecological samples (water, soil), light plastics and polymers. In addition to standard mineralization, the device performs acid leaching of both large and small volumes of organic and inorganic matrices.
