Agilent 5800
Vertical two-angle Inductively coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP-OES)

The Agilent 5800 VDV spectrometer belongs to the class of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometers and is designed for laboratories performing routine elemental analysis in a wide range of matrices. The device is in demand in environmental monitoring, food safety control, geology, metallurgy and petrochemistry. Unlike the flagship 5900 model with synchronous two-angle measurement, the 5800 model has a VDV configuration with the possibility of subsequent expansion. The device can operate in two modes: axial for maximum sensitivity in determining trace concentrations, and radial for analyzing samples with a high content of dissolved salts…

Vertical two-angle Inductively coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP-OES) Agilent 5800
The device can operate in two modes: axial for maximum sensitivity in determining trace concentrations, and radial for analyzing samples with a high content of dissolved salts and organic matrices. The key technology of the system is Freeform Optics with a focal length of 253 millimeters. The asymmetric aspherical mirror corrects all types of optical aberrations across the entire spectral range, providing an average 40 percent improvement in detection limits compared to traditional optical systems. The Vista Chip III detector has 70,000 photosensitive pixels distributed across 70 diagonal linear arrays, and is cooled to minus 40 degrees Celsius to minimize dark current. IntelliQuant's intelligent algorithms scan a sample in a few seconds, determining the approximate concentration of up to 70 elements and detecting spectral overlays. The Early Maintenance Feedback feature monitors the condition of critical nodes using over 100 sensors and predicts the need for maintenance. Neb Alert technology monitors the argon pressure in the sprayer, instantly notifying of a blockage or leak. Adaptive Integration Technology automatically selects the optimal integration time for each spectral line depending on the signal intensity. The integrated AVS 7 six-port valve reduces the flushing time between samples to 41 seconds per sample and reduces argon consumption to 9.8 liters per sample. The instrument can be upgraded in the field to an SVDV configuration as the laboratory's performance requirements increase. The preparation of the installation site does not require special requirements for heating or ventilation, the device has compact dimensions and low weight.
