High-performance Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP-OES) Thermo Scientific iCAP PRO XPS
The Thermo Scientific iCAP PRO XPS spectrometer belongs to the class of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometers and is the senior model in the PRO series, focused on laboratories with maximum performance and reliability requirements. The device is in demand in environmental monitoring, food safety control, geology, metallurgy, petrochemistry and materials science. The key feature of the system is the vertical orientation of the burner, which ensures resistance to high levels of dissolved salts and organic solvents. The device is equipped with three independent MFC mass flowmeters for precise control of plasma, auxiliary and spray gases, as well as an additional MFC for gas addition in the analysis of high-salt samples with a dissolved solids content of up to 30 percent. The optical system is based on an echelle polychromator with cross-dispersion and temperature control, which ensures long-term stability and reduces the need for recalibration. The resolution of the device is 7 picometers at a wavelength of 200 nanometers. The CID 821 detector with fast readout and NDRO non-destructive reading allows simultaneous detection of the full spectrum from weak to strong signals without blurring bright lines. The device supports two analytical modes. The intelligent full-range iFR mode provides simultaneous measurement of all elements in the wavelength range from 167.021 to 852.145 nanometers in a single exposure. The extended UV mode of eUV increases sensitivity for elements requiring detection in the deep ultraviolet range from 167.021 to 240.063 nanometers, including mercury, antimony and lead. The Qtegra ISDS software provides intuitive navigation, allowing the operator to add wavelengths, create methods, analyze samples, and perform data postprocessing at the same time as the data collection process. It takes only 5 minutes for the device to exit standby mode, which minimizes downtime and reduces argon consumption. The vacuum drain sensor shuts down the system when a leak is detected in the test path, preventing sample loss. The preparation of the installation site does not require special requirements, the device has compact dimensions and is supplied with a four-channel peristaltic pump, which allows you to connect additional accessories for automation.
