The system is convenient for monitoring Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd and other metals in water, industrial solutions, raw materials, washing waters and food samples, which makes it universal for factory, environmental and control laboratories, as well as SES/CSEC centers. The device belongs to the iCE 3000 line, where the main focus is on automated and convenient operation. Atomization is based on acetylene air flame, if necessary— acetylene nitrous oxide air, which allows you to work with a wide range of elements without using a graphite furnace. A monochromator with automatic wavelength adjustment and a range of about 190-900 nm provides a fast transition between methods and elements, and a two-beam optical circuit minimizes drift and increases measurement stability over large sample series. The iCE 3300 AAS implements automatic lamp selection and positioning, optimization of burner position and flame modes, as well as a built-in background correction algorithm, which significantly reduces operator intervention and simplifies work with a variety of matrices. In the laboratory, this translates into faster start-up, fewer manual settings, and a simplified procedure for switching between methods and elements, which is especially important for high-precision and production centers. The control is carried out from an external PC, standard platforms for atomic spectroscopy and integration with LIMS systems are supported, which is convenient for factory laboratories, SES/CSEC centers, independent testing centers and environmental laboratories. For such laboratories, the Thermo Scientific iCE 3300 AAS is not only a metal detection device, but also a tool for automating routine flow: from sample accounting and analysis time control to the generation and storage of reports.
