Agilent J&W DB-5ms
Capillary column for gas chromatography and mass spectrometry

The Agilent J&W DB-5ms capillary column is recognized as the industry standard for gas chromatography and gas chromato-mass spectrometry due to its unique combination of low stationary phase washout and excellent inertia to active compounds. The stationary phase is a phenyl-arylene polymer, practically equivalent to 5-phenyl-methylpolysiloxane. The key advantage of the speaker is the improved signal-to-noise ratio, which provides higher sensitivity and maintains the integrity of the mass spectra during detection. Aromatic compounds in this phase demonstrate excellent separation efficiency due to the specific selectivity of the phenyl-arylene group. The stationary phase is crosslinked and…

Agilent J&W DB-5ms
The industry standard among non-polar low-profile speakers for GC and GC-MS. It provides excellent signal-to-noise ratio, excellent inertia and a minimum level of stationary phase flushing.

Capillary column for gas chromatography and mass spectrometry Agilent J&W DB-5ms
The stationary phase is crosslinked and bonded, which allows the column to be rinsed with organic solvents to remove non-volatile residues. This approach significantly extends the service life of the column when analyzing dirty samples. The level of phase washout is minimized, which is critically important for stable operation of the mass spectrometer and reduction of background noise. The column is available with internal diameters from 0.18 to 0.53 millimeters, a length from 12 to 60 meters and a film thickness from 0.10 to 1.50 micrometers. The operating temperature range ranges from minus 60 to 325 or 350 degrees Celsius for narrow speakers and from minus 60 to 300 or 320 degrees for wide speakers. Each column is accompanied by a certificate with the results of individual testing in terms of flushing parameters, sensitivity and effectiveness. The column meets the requirements of the USP phases G27, G36 and G41.
