Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus C18
High performance liquid chromatography column

The Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus C18 chromatographic column belongs to the class of reverse-phase sorbents based on highly purified porous silica gel with grafted octadecyl groups. The device is designed to separate both acidic and basic compounds over a wide pH range. The column is in demand in pharmaceutical quality control, clinical research, food analysis and environmental monitoring. The sorbent is made on the basis of ultrapure silica gel with a metal impurity content of less than 0.4 percent, which minimizes undesirable interaction of analytes with the active centers of the surface. The Eclipse double…

The Eclipse double coating technology ensures the stability and reproducibility of separation, as well as extends the life of the column when working with aggressive moving phases. The sorbent particles have a diameter of 1.8, 3.5 or 5 micrometers and a spherical morphology. The pore size is 95 or 100 Angstroms, which is optimal for separating low molecular weight compounds with a molecular weight of up to 2000 Da. The specific surface area is approximately 160 square meters per gram, carbon loading ranges from 9 to 12 percent. The column is stable in the pH range from 2 to 9. The operating temperature limit is 60 degrees Celsius. The speakers are available with an internal diameter of 2.1 to 50 millimeters and a length of 30 to 300 millimeters. The body is made of stainless steel, the end fittings are made according to the Parker standard. Applications include analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients, purity control of substances and food, analysis of natural waters, pesticides in soil and biological fluids.
