Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-WaxMS
Capillary column for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

The Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-WaxMS capillary column is a polar phase based on polyethylene glycol, specially developed for gas chromatography and gas chromato-mass spectrometry. The stationary phase is polyethylene glycol, which meets the requirements of the USP phases G14, G15, G16, G20 and G39. The key advantage of the column is its high thermal stability and resistance to oxidative damage. The polar deactivated surface binds the polymer firmly, providing excellent thermal stability and better resistance to highly acidic and strong basic volatile compounds compared to silicone solid phases. Due to the very low level of…

Capillary column for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-WaxMS
Due to the very low level of flushing, the column ensures stable results from analysis to analysis. The low base noise allows for improved detection limits and increased resolution when analyzing low concentrations. The high inertia of the surface guarantees excellent peak shape and sensitivity for active or difficult-to-separate compounds, including organic acids and free fatty acids. The speaker is available in several specialized versions. The TG-WaxMS A version is optimized for the analysis of organic acids and free fatty acids with excellent peak shape for high molecular weight acids. The TG-WaxMS B version is designed to analyze basic compounds, including alkylamines, diamines, and other basic analytes, without the need for derivatization or column pre-conditioning. The standard version of TG-WaxMS is suitable for the analysis of fatty acid methyl esters, flavors and essential oils, solvents, xylene isomers, and the EPA 603 (acrolein/acrylonitrile) method. The geometric size range includes internal diameters from 0.10 to 0.53 millimeters, lengths from 10 to 60 meters, and film thicknesses from 0.10 to 1.50 micrometers. The operating temperature range varies depending on the version and thickness of the film: for TG-WaxMS and TG-WaxMS B it ranges from minus 20 to 240/260 degrees Celsius, for TG-WaxMS A (acid-deactivated) — up to 240/250 degrees, and for version B the maximum temperature is 200/220 degrees.
