Edwards nEXT300
Hybrid turbomolecular vacuum pump

The Edwards nEXT300 is a hybrid turbomolecular vacuum pump, replacing the EXT255H and EXT255DX models. This equipment is designed to generate high and ultra-high vacuum in research and development facilities, analytical instruments, coating systems, and industrial production. The pump design is based on a patented bearing system: the upper bearing is magnetic, while the lower bearing is oil-lubricated ceramic. This minimizes noise and vibration and simplifies maintenance. Lower bearing replacement takes less than five minutes and requires no special tools. The pump is available in several models. The D (Duplex) model combines turbomolecular vanes with…

The D (Duplex) model combines turbomolecular vanes with a Siegbahn sliding mechanism, enabling operation at higher discharge pressures up to 9.5 mbar. The T (Triplex) model is additionally equipped with a regeneration stage, enabling booster operation and withstanding outlet pressures up to 20 mbar. Versions with the "i" suffix in their name feature an intermediate port between the turbomolecular vanes and a Siegbahn mechanism to optimize the pumping system. The integrated controller provides flexible control of pump parameters, reducing energy consumption and extending the service life of the equipment. Remote control is possible via RS232 and RS485 interfaces. The pump is compatible with TAG, TIC Turbo, and TIC Turbo&Instrument controllers.
