This improved version of the XDS10 features higher pumping speeds, lower ultimate pressures, reduced energy consumption, and reduced noise levels. The pump's key advantage is its completely oil-free design. All hydrocarbon-lubricated bearings are isolated from the vacuum cavity, eliminating contamination of the pumped medium with oil vapor. This sealed design not only prevents sample contamination but also protects the bearings from aggressive gases, extending their service life. An integrated frequency converter controls the shaft speed, providing flexible performance adjustments for specific applications. Remote control and monitoring are available via RS232, RS485, or USB interfaces. An intelligent controller monitors power and temperature, protecting the pump from overloads. The pump is designed for long service life thanks to an improved volute tip seal design, extending service intervals to five years. The equipment is designed for complete field maintenance with minimal specialized tools.
